806 Turf and Outdoors

These guys are amazing. Assisted the wife and I with getting a concrete pad, pergola and artificial grass installed in our backyard. We've agreed to have them come back this winter and build us a security fence even. Can't recommend them enough.

I had hired 806 Turf to put in a boarder, artificial turf (specifically for a playset for my kids), build up my back yard (in hopes of hydro seeding and reduce flooding), remove a small 5 in diameter tree as well as trim several large trees. Ive done work with this company before (different management) and never had any issues to write home about. However, under this new management I am sorely disappointed. After explaining to the new manager that I was originally quoted for a turf space of 17 x 20 and now I wanted it to be 20 x 25 (or larger) I was talked into going 20 x the total depth of my yard. I honestly was, and still am, ok with that. Yes, there was a price increase and understandably so since there was more turf included. However when the turf was installed and I measure because it looked short, I came up with depth x ~15 at the widest point! When I brought it to the managers attention he said it was going to be $1,200 more for them to do that! I, unfortunately, agreed and they fixed the turf. Now, for the tree trimming part. They, after talking to them before, during and after the project, still have not come to do this. Ive now hired another company to do this work. While they did remove the 5 tree; they neglected all the other tree trimming work. Also, per my quote I was to have composted topsoil added and leveled out in my yard. They put full dirt with rocks! I even have a text from the manager stating that they put full dirt and not what was on my quote. They havent come to raise my sprinkler heads like they said they would and my yard floods more now than before!!! The new landscaping company I have fixing the mistakes of 806 Turf stated that it has a good amount of caliche in it. No wonder it holds water! They also didnt anchor the play-set into the turf like they said they would. I expect people to be fair and honest. This company is not. I would be very leery of doing any business with them. Ive now had to hire another company to finish their job. And yes I am disputing with my CC as this job was not even close to done! BEWARE!!!!! *UPDATE!!! The new crew I have fixing and doing the remaining work found that the sprinklers under the artificial turf that 806 Turf put down werent capped!! 806 Turf confirmed they had done this and it is very obvious this wasnt completed!!! Outstanding service!! They did a large front yard & it is absolutely Beautiful! So nice & polite & they answer their phone ! These guys know what they are doing ! Extremely hard working & every detail & clean up are perfection !
