I got my hair done by a girl named Amber there. She was very nice & I loved the outcome of my hair. The other girls there seem very nice as well.

Im really not one to leave reviews (ever) but my experience at this salon was not as expected. After my regular stylist left Lubbock, I didnt know what to do. I saw One:Nine Salon on Instagram and liked the vibe, checked out all the stylists and decided to try them out after not having a haircut for over a year. All I wanted was a haircut and I didnt get what I wanted at all. I asked for the 90s layers and curtain bangs, but was not consulted about length and wasnt able to see my hair until the stylist finished cutting it and asked if I wanted it curled. I literally hadnt seen what she was doing the whole time, which is super odd for a salon. I had to ask to see the cut and decided to leave before the stylist could do anything else because I felt so uncomfortable in the chair. If you dont want to cut my hair, thats fine. I understand having new people sit in your chair is awkward, but I did pay for it, and I half expected to feel better walking out of the salon. Instead, I had to put my hair up and go about my day. It was disappointing and I don't see myself returning to this salon again.

These ladies truly are amazing at what they do. They have an amazing talent and a fantastic atmosphere! It all starts with management though. Tori Carillo is the best nail person I have ever been to! She's super sweet, funny, and her work is *chefs kiss* everytime! I've been going to Tori for 3 years now and will never go to another person. Her team goes above and beyond for every client and it shows. Tori and Feliciana for nails. Margarita for hair!
