David Long, MD

Dr. Long is without a doubt the best Dr. In West Texas. He is professional has answers and is caring. He will be my Doctor forever. Highly recommend him and his staff.

I first became acquainted and familiar with Dr. David Long 20 years ago when I first began representing injured workers in the Texas Workers' Compensation system. Doctor Long has always proven to be a helpful provider who will take the time to advocate for his patients no matter the situation or issue. I have consistently recommended Dr. Long to all of my workers' compensation clients as well as friends and family and will continue to do so. If you have any medical issue which necessitates at treating doctor or PCP you would be doing yourself a disservice by choosing someone other than Dr. Long. I cannot stress enough how helpful, genuine and extremely knowledgeable and professional he has been through the years. He truly a doctor who listens and advocates for his patients.

Dr. Long is by far the BEST Dr in the LUBBOCK area. I've been seeing him for over 8+ years. He's VERY professional and does listen. He doesn't tolerate patients that are not being truly honest. He can definitely see past the lies and nonsense from patients trying to get some kind of disability note. He's a great Christain and family man. I read some comments and it seems if it didn't go their way. They were upset with Dr. Long. I don't understand why if you have such a bad injury and he calls you out about faking it. Why don't you go see another Dr.?? Makes no common sense to me. I apologize for the rant, but these patients that fake injuries make it harder for us that truly have a disability!!! God blesss

UPDATE! Reading through some of the negative reviews and they're all absurd! Crying about having to wait 30 minutes, or he didn't make eye contact. Good grief, lots of people just like to find stuff to complain about. Bottom line is, Dr Long is top notch and knows what he's doing. He's not going get comfortable and have a 20 minute conversation with you about every pain in your body, but he gets the info he needs to address your primary concern. I deal with a lot of doctors in my field and trust me, Dr Long is not impersonable or cold. He's just quick... I've had nothing but positive experiences. I could be wrong, but it feels like he actually cares about me, unlike most docs I've seen. Team Long!
