I went there today because I was in longview and need to get a oil change and fuel filter on my 23 half ton chevy diesel. I have had it changed before in my hometown of Hughes Springs for $89 I like to fell out when he said $237. I ask him what in the hell was so high. He said I have to pay for this place it ain't free. I didn't expect I would have to make 2 months payments. This was way high. He said I wouldn't find a cheaper place in longview. I told him I wouldn't be looking anymore in longview. Rediclous!!!!

I thought to finally take the time to write a review about my experience with this shop. Not a good one!! I am new to the area and was thinking how hard can it be to change the oil and transmission fluid? I took my car in thinking it shouldn't take to long, boy was I wrong! After an hour or so I heard an employee say he had a problem with the transmission pan? The gentleman doing the work had never done one come to find out, not something you want to hear. In the process he sheared a bolt off and bent up the pan. No one says a word to me as I see them scrambling around, making calls to find a tap to get the bolt out. We are going on about two hours now in which the gentleman doing the work tells me he's been on the job for a couple of days with no experience. While I paiently wait taking close to four hours being I arrived about one and finally was given my car back as they were closing around five. I'm thinking stuff happens and as long as the problem was taken care of I'm good to go. The next day I noticed transmission fluid all over my carport. I call them back to let them know, was told bring it in, we will take care of it. The next day about one I headed over there. Another close to four hours of waiting while they try a correct the mess they created. It's Thursday. I leave around five and head home. I get up in the morning to check it and notice fluid still seaping around the pan. I know what I'm looking at after working in a fabrication plant building machinery for twenty years. I call back on Friday to let them know, their not happy campers. They put it up on a rack and play around awhile then ask me to take a look. It appeared to have been wiped down and looked fairly clean. I head home its Friday. I check it repeatedly over the weekend and keep getting fluid off the bottom of the pan. I call Monday and tell them, the owner hangs up on me and I head down there. I give them the keys to the car to have another look. About maybe five minutes or less he walks in with a business card and some grease on one of the corners, tells me its not tyranny fluid and he's done with me!!! I keep checking it and finding fluid on the pan every day as well as fluid on the ground. I end up taking it to two different mechanics both confirming that's its leaking and the bolts were loose and appeared to be tapped in at an angle. I wait a few weeks and take it to a third mechanics, I'm told it appears to have possibly sealed itself over time and the seaping is very limited at this point. To keep an eye on it by checking the fluid periodically and it would probably be ok. At this point taking them to small claims court and wasting more of my time, literally hours and hours and expenses in doing so not worth my time.Take it for what it's worth, I never had a business hang up on me and tell me their done with me after their incompetence in performing a simple enough task! Really!! Avoid like the plaque! In reviewing other reviews I see where the owner lied directly to the customer. This is exactly what happened to me. After the damage occurred the owner tells me that employee is gone. Fired him, he says, not sure what he's thinking because I'm in there trying to have them fix the screw up and the guy is working on cars? Like I can't see!! What the!! How stupid can you be!! I don't think the employee should be fired. He should be trained before he is allowed to take on a job he has no clue what he's doing. It's the OWNER'S responsibility. To top it off the owners son jumps on his motorcycle as soon as he sees me pulling in on Monday, my fourth trip to have them fix it. Supposedly he was the one that fixed it the second time around. Told me he had years of experience, not to worry!! I'm sure maybe he has a lot of time performing his job without issues! All being said, I get it we all at times have had situations were it might not have gone as expected. When dealing with the public providing a service that you or an employee is trained to do and it's botched you take responsibility to make it right. Customer service is everything.
