La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham I-20 Longview South

This hotel is awful. Traveling for business. I stayed way longer than I should have. Elevator didn't work properly rooms smell moldly, breakfast was old tasting, not many choices. Rooms: Only positive were sheets were clean as well as towels. GM did meet with me but when a roach appeared in my bathroom I was out. Still would appreciate reward points. Safety: Didn't feel comfortable with people lingering outside. Room numbers were freely given out. Although the GM was apologetic it just wasn't enough . I stayed 2 weeks and still haven't received any rewards.

This hotel makes east Texas awesome. The wall art is pure Texas, but even the flood and oilfield images are gorgeous. Rooms are clean, well appointed, comfortable and the curtains shut everything out. Exercise room had lots of freevweights an elliptical and bike. Breakfast was tasty, the sausage was local and delicious and hot. Service was quick, helpful and friendly. Close to I-20. Great overnighting.

Wasn't worth $750 for 5 nights had no telephone in rooms and hole in closet the size of a person. The best thing about my visit was the biscuits and gravy in the morning.
