I would like to express my appreciation for the care my brother received from Alinea Family Hospice out of the Longview Office. He was under their care for approximately nine months, and absolutely loved each and every caregiver. Sharida was so kind and showed so much compassion for him. He really looked forward to her visits and her kind, gentle spirit was remarkable. Sharida was the bright spot of his day. He also adored his nurses, Amber and Wendi. They were absolutely wonderful, so sweet, compassionate, and wonderful nurses. My sincere thanks to each Alinea employee involved in my brother's care.

This family owned business proves above and beyond how much they care for their patients and families. They take the time to truly get to know you and make you part of their family. I like how their ownership was described to me: big enough to serve you, small enough to know you. Amazing group of caregivers!

Alinea Hospice provided care for my grandmother, and the care was awesome. From admit until services were finished, they provided comfort and support to our family in our time of need. They provided reassurance to our very large family, and were there to answer any questions we had. Although she was with them for a short time, the experience was memorable.

Extremely disappointed in the lack of human compassion, concern, unprofessionalism and poor patient care. If Lisa still works as a nurse for this organization, please reconsider your choice in deciding this place for palliative care.
My mother was a placed on hospice care 11/25/22 after a long battle with bone cancer. We chose Alinea after meeting with Mr. Baker who shared the mission of the organization and raged about the great care plus Christian based values. I believe this is who Mr. Baker is and hes a great face for the organization. Our experience has been far from what was expressed once we agreed to use Alinea services.
My mother presented with several medical issues that require daily attention, including sacral and lower extremity wounds. These were assessed by the intake nurse on day one when she arrived home from the hospital. Leslie was her assigned nurse and 2 weeks have gone by without any observation or assessment of my moms wounds. Leslie has shown up 3-4x in 2 weeks and stayed maximum 10 minutes or long enough to take blood pressure and vitals.. beyond that she was useless. I mentioned my moms wounds may be getting infected due to my mom running fever and shes complaining that f pain in her sacral area. Leslie still did not assess the wound but stated she would request to prescribe antibiotics. Its been almost a week and Leslie never followed up on the antibiotics. All while my mothers wound is now bleeding through her clothing. (see below text message between myself and Leslie). After getting a rude, unprofessional and inconsiderate response, I contacted the administrator, Tracy, who didnt seem alarmed or really concerned about me bringing him this issue. As a business owner, I would certainly address this and ask to be provided with any documentation to assist in addressing it. Tracy didnt even care to ask for any details or documentation.
A wound care nurse came out and assessed my moms wound and placed an order for additional meds. By 4:30 pm theres no follow up from Alinea even after the assessment and knowing her condition with nausea and wound were serious. I again had to contact Alinea to ask if the meds were called and had wound be delivered. I had to pick the meds up myself.
Hospice care should be one that aids in reducing stress, anxiety, and risk. This has been the complete opposite.
