never had problems with office staff. the esthetics course nighttime class was literally a joke. learned very little and it was never a productive class. just there for hours doing nothing. the teacher uses inappropriate language, and is unprofessional with students.

Kilgore college as a whole is fine. However the LVN program was a complete circus . From having to remove their program director in the middle of a semester for racial slurs to having 3rd level nursing students attending clinicals in a nursing home. There is no order, no respect for the students time and lastly but most importantly no instructor support excluding maybe 1 instructor. Get ready to experience an instructor get irritated because you dont understand something shes teaching right away. Prepare for your instructor to tell you that shes too busy working on her masters degree program to even care when you take your final. Your schedule could change at anytime and you need to be flexible bc missing clinicals or class time is enough to get you reprimanded or kicked out, if youre not a favorite. Again Kilgore college itself seems to be fine but youre only as strong as your weakest link Kilgore college LVN program is terrible & could honestly be a waste of your time. NOT RECOMMENDED 1 of 5. Try TJC or Panola or anywhere else.

Had a lot of problems with registering for classes here at Longview usually every semester. Most of the people that work here are nice but every now and then I get someone who is rude doesn't want to try to fix the problem and they usually have a not my problem mentality. Although they probably just having a bad day it's happened a few times over the last couple years and makes me just want to go to the kilgore campus instead.
