Dont know what has happened to this entire taxing entity. Guess it is the greed that has bled down from the White House. I moved to the country to get away from big city taxes 7 years ago. Now, it has caught up. Polk county has adopted excessive restrictions, excessive taxes and excessive property values. They have removed the ability to pull up and view properly square footage and price. This should be readily accessible to the public at the very least as a source of comparison when gathering research for protesting. Removing transparency of what should be public record is an indication of the determination to dictate values while hiding resources once available to prove either way. If I wanted to live with this type of greed, I would have remained in the big city I moved from. Looks like I may just return there after brutal take over of the citizenrys research resources to leave our hands tied behind our back. Just wondering if we got stuck with people moving from California into our County offices. Go ahead and appraise away. I can use all the deceitful over-exaggerated value I can get to help me with selling my home and leaving this county. I see the writing on the wall. Its not good. Not good at all!
