Kristen Rae Photography

We used Kristen for both our engagement and wedding photos. With the engagement photos, I emailed her less than a week to ask her if she can take our photos (my other photographer cancelled on us). She worked it out and took such wonderful photos. I'm glad it didn't work out with the other photographer because I don't think they could do a better job than Kristen! For our wedding day, Kristen and Amanda were so great and the pictures were so terrific! She is the best, nicest person to work with, and has beautiful ideas for pictures. We highly recommend her for any photo needs you may have!

Kristen was amazing to work with! She had regular communication with me throughout the entire wedding planning process and was readily available to answer any questions I had. Kristen did our engagement photos as well as wedding day photos and did an EXCELLENT job! She completely executed my vision of recreating our first date at the wine bar where we met. She took her time and worked so well with the employees at the restaurant that they didn't seem to mind too much that we were moving furniture all around the place! On our wedding day, Kristen made my husband and I feel very comfortable and at ease with her. Our wedding party and friends made comments about how professional Kristen and her second shooter were and how many pictures they took. Kristen is such a caring, positive person and it shines through in her work. She was reassuring and pleasant throughout the entire day, even though she must have been exhausted from being on her feet for 10+ hours. We just received our photos last month and they are absolutely beautiful and really creative. Kristen definitely has an eye for detail. Close to 2,000 pictures and almost all are frame worthy! As a side note, since I live out of town (and am a total procrastinator), I wasn't able to set up a time with Kristen for bridal portraits so my wedding planner referred me to some local photographers for bridals. I was SHOCKED to see how much most of those photographers were charging when they weren't even offering half of what Kristen offered in her packages. She is well-worth every penny! The bottom line is that Kristen is effortlessly pleasant, a hard worker and extraordinarily creative. I would recommend her without hesitation and can only wait until the next time I can use her photography skills!

Going with Kristen Rae Photography was the best decision we made!! My husband and I had not had professional pics together since our wedding, so we wanted great shots together without looking too much like engagement pics. We were referred to Kristen by a friend and she did not disappoint!! She is so kind and easy going and really just delivered some beautiful pictures that I know we're going to love for a very long time!!! Do not hesitate to book!!!

Kristen is amazing! We had her take newborn photos of our son when he was five days old and she did a phenomenal job. She was extremely flexible when we needed to take a break to feed or change the baby, had great ideas for which poses to do when the baby was awake vs. when he was asleep, brought great props and back drops, and took fantastic pictures! The quality of the pictures themselves was top notch, she took TONS of photos and found some real gems among them. Her editing work is great and she even went above and beyond the call of duty by helping me pick pictures that would compliment each other to go on our birth announcements (that she knew we weren't going to print through her!) KRP is an extremely professional photography company with great rates for the quality of service and product you receive. I recommend Kristen whenever I get the chance. We will absolutely be using her again when our second baby is born later this year.

I cannot say enough positive things about Kristen! Not only is she a fantastic photographer (she's done our engagements, wedding, Christmas card, and newborn pictures thus far) but she's an incredible person. Working with Kristen is always such a breeze and never once did I have to worry about photography at our wedding. I don't think she ever uttered the word "no" to me as we planned our engagement pictures and discussed what I wanted for the actual wedding day. If I wanted it, she delivered. She was always responsive to my emails, phone calls, and texts, kept me in the loop the entire time. Unlike many vendors in the wedding business, if Kristen tells she'll be at a certain place at a certain time, you can count on it. And you can trust that if you ask for it, she'll deliver. And most importantly, her work is PHENOMENAL. I can't recommend Kristen enough!
