Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas/Lewisville-Vista Ridge Mall, TX

It's okay - a bit pricey. But if you have to light your money on fire I suppose this isn't the worst option for a hotel.

Location is perfect, breakfast was good, however the experience was ruined by the staff member meeting me (definitely not greeting me) when I arrived exhausted past midnight. I had to wait for her to walk to the front door to open it. No smile, no greeting. I would have gone straight to my room using app check-in and digital key, but they had not activated it. (It worked when checking out). I asked about it. She said she doesn't know how the app works. I went to check the room (that I could not choose beforehand) and found it muggy and unpleasant. The wall thermostat did not work. Her answer was " some work, some dont, I dont know about the rooms. You can use it from the window unit control". I asked why it was so muggy. "I dont know, I can put you to third floor". I had to pass, I have a foot injury and cant walk and carry my stuff easily. I asked about where is the most convinient parking to my room. She did not know. Sigh. No free water for Silver member. I dont think I will come back for tonight...or ever

We were given the wrong room; paid for a king bed with a pullout couch. No pullout was given. Hotel was completely booked, long lines for service at the front desk. Pillows and blankets given were not comparable, were flat as a pancake, and did not meet the expectations of the brand. Would not recommend. Rooms: The rooms were clean, but wrong room was given. Pillows and blankets were uncoftable and flat as could be.

I stayed two nights in a motel 6 (Lawton OK) and the Hampton is like the Taj mahal in comparison. We wanted to get are luggage to our room and go eat. After I sat down on the bed, I instantly fell asleep. Great place and great reason to spend a few more dollars.
