They did horrible when my oldest went here, that I pulled her and went to a different school and district. Due to the passing of my father, my two kids and I had to move back home to be with my mother. Unfortunately, the elementary and high school are the same for how the front deals with day to day tasks, but the teachers are ridiculous in elementary when it comes to teaching. I really wish I would not have had to move back to this district, if I could I would very happily drive my children to and from for DPISD. Definitely a better school district that really puts teaching first (not teaching a Starr test so they pass!) They truly teach! Which is what these children really need today. Also how to show and inform young children with learning disabilities and anxiety issues what happens and what you do if your at school when, a lock down, intruder, severe storm issues, shelter in place & fire drill happen. I'm sorry if I've forgotten anything, but with what happened today to my youngest, yes they need to be reinforced how to explain this information to kindergartners, because scaring them to death to where they don't even what to go to school anymore! That is not acceptable!
