Because of Kike Trevino’s State Farm office, I have unknowingly been breaking the law for two weeks, putting me in both legal and financial jeopardy. On March 6th, I received a text from this office asking about whether my child should be on my auto policy. I texted back that my child is of driving age, but does not have a license and cannot drive. I did not receive a response. Today, March 31st, I discovered while trying to have my car inspected that Kike Trevino’s State Farm office cancelled my policy on March 16th. Upon calling to fix the error, they told me that they did not receive my text and had therefore canceled my policy. Rather than reinstating it, they told me they would have to give me a new quote. I have been with them since I purchased my 2009 Honda Fit new, and my rate has been $86 per month. Today’s quote was $367, and included my unlicensed, non-driving child as a driver. I have now switched to Allstate for half the price.
