Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Killeen

The room was clean and looks recently remodeled. The staff was friendly and there was plenty if parking. Free breakfast was okay and served the normal items. There is a mini pantry on the ground floor.

If I could give them a " no star rating " it would be a plus First if my mother booked a room there for a " funeral,the passing of one of our family members. In doing so , she reserved a room for a one night stay seeing she was coming from New Orleans ,La to Killeen,Tx. Double beds just in case I'd get in town . In cancelling her reservation she was told that she couldn't cancelled due to " she was already checked in. We all didn't even get in Texas yet.So someone my mom said name was Lynn stared that the person or persons were checked in and also wanted to switch one room to get another. My mom was so upset that everything checked out.They first check in under her name , also reservation number and credit card on file. She called Marriot Customer Care to Fairfield hotel throughout the night .Mind you she had just lost her Aunt and now she has to deal with fraud. The next day she called that hotel She said she spoke to Monica the manager of the hotel.All they could tell her was : They cleared it up , it was a mistake by a new employee and that she may still be billed for a broken reservation. Before all this was told to her my mom had already picked her credit cards because she's had fraud before once she's gotten in touch her bank. But I was not satisfied how they handled my mom's case .no one contacted her back after this incident. All she said was they told her that they weren't going to charge her credit card.But all the problems already started with the misinformation that led to my mom had to lock her card which is connected with a lot of bills that are auto pay out of her card mainly her cellar bill .So she had no service because her billing cycle was around the same time the card was locked. So when fraudulent incidents happen it's like a domino effect. So for all of the Customer Service rep just giving the hotel staff a slap on the risk .It's really not making me satisfied. My mom was not even giving any kind of credibility but an " oh well it happens kind of closure. NEVER EVER GO TO THIS HOTEL .THEY STEAL YOUR IDENTITY. And if they want to try to verify that it's a one time incident I don't think so Someone was trying to give someone a free night in my mom's expense.She doesn't want to have anything to do with Marriott again but I told her they owe you more than a slap on the wrist for something you had no control over. all zero from me . Horrible customer service.
