terrible place, employees behave inappropriately, familiarity, their sales manager does not deserve this position. most likely they have the same leadership, since they allow themselves such behavior

I would like to thank the Shottenkirk Nissan of Katy team; Sid, Mario, and Andrew. The experience was fast and easy. Sid reach out to me and got me in touch with Mario, who got me behind the wheel of a truck I had inquired about. Mario thoroughly went thru the vehicle explaining all the bells and whistles. Andrew swooped in with an interest rate and financing plan that was too good to pass up. Thanks guys, really enjoying the truck!!

Purchased a 2023 Nissan Titan here. LOVE the truck; I thought that warranted the star. But the sales experience was an admixture of tragicomedy and kabuki theater. The purchase took about three hours (no surprise there), with the usual theater of the salesman running back and forth to the sales manager, pretending he's fighting for you to get you a great deal. This never fails to crack us up (wife was there, she's also a fan of absurdity). The problem with the deal was Shottenkirk didn't want to make a decent offer on our trade. Their offer was less than the value of the tires on the vehicle. And they wouldn't budge. So, we were going to walk, (yes, the offer was so laughable it was a deal killer). But, the salesman we were working with said he was looking for a daily driver, and made a reasonable offer on it. Sold! (Both our trade in, and the Titan.) The next day, we received an apoplectic call from Marco, the Sales Manager, wanting to know all about the disposition of our "trade" (the one they wouldn't make a fair offer on). Told him it was sold in a separate transaction, to our salesman (the sales manager specifically asked). Subsequently, we received a call from the salesman, who tells us he got fired for buying our vehicle (this is supremely ironic, as the salesman's actions resulted in the sale of the Titan). So, I can only assume that not only did Shottenkirk not want to make a fair offer on the trade, they objected to ANYONE making us a fair offer. Draw your own conclusions about their business practices based on their conduct here . I particularly did not like the shrill call from Marco, the sales manager, involving me in a personnel issue. Very unprofessional. I see reviews of the Shottenkirk sales experience that are positive. I can only assume the reasons for those are denial, self-delusion, and rationalization. They are a tribute to the stunning efficacy of repressive defense mechanisms. If you are reading this, there are six other Nissan dealers also within distance. Perhaps begin your car buying journey at one of those. Edit: Received call from the dealership. Not about the sales experience, but expressing dismay that the review was garnering views. The gentleman I spoke to shared an implausible tale, involving an exciting narrative of deceit and deception. In fact, he prevaricated, the dealership HAD made a fair offer on my trade, but the salesman had engaged in a cunning and nefarious subterfuge, wherein he concealed this fabulous offer from us, just so he could get his hands on my trade for himself. Bwaaaah haaaa haaaaaa. (If the salesman reads this review, and wants hear to his former employer throw him under the bus (again), he should call. I've got an audio file, kept solely for entertainment purposes, of course.) Additional edit: I see the dealership finally posted a robo-response expressing concern (two months after purchase). I have spoken to them twice regarding my experience. I can only assume their response is meant for the wider audience, and not me.

Two biggest regrets: purchasing a Nissan + purchasing from Shottenkirk. My brand new 2023 Armada SL has given me issues since driving off the lot. First a clutch issue which had me nearly stalling out on the freeway followed by consistent CarPlay and technology issues. The service manager, who wanted to tell me that he was handsomely paid to fix my vehicle but couldnt tried to blame Apple for the issue. Problem is he was wrong because now the entire screen goes off for days at a time. This means no cameras, no radio, no CarPlay, no wireless phone, truly dangerous to be driving. Ive been in touch with the General Manager whose original Solution was to try to sell me another vehicle and get more money out of me (what a joke) as well he told me hed get back to me with a different solution and despite my follow-up has not gotten back to me at all. This place is a joke, Nissan is a joke and I would never buy from either again. The most frustrating and disappointing/expensive regret. Im stuck with a brand new vehicle that has caused me more issues than any previous non-Nissan vehicle combined.
