I recently purchased a rifle at an online store for the first time and chose to use FFL Texas for the transfer based on their good reviews. I couldnt have been more happy with the choice. Jesse was super quick replying to all my questions and walked me step by step through the process. The paperwork process was fast and he had my gun ready for pickup within a few hours after it had been delivered to his shop. I would highly recommend using Jesse for a smooth and quick transfer. This is my first real review and 1 star is being generous. I was recommended to Payne Brother firearms as an FFL and Im disappointed I didnt take anyones advice. Im an easy going, smiling all the time guy. I guess I was greeted by Jesse an old grumpy guy. Emailed him around 2-3pm today asking for an update on my firearm and got no response no problem, so I decided to walk in. I told this man who I was and why I was there and his facial expression changed to dumbfounded as if its just stupid I was there asking about a gun I purchased. He started to get hostile as I calmly asked questions about my firearm and a time frame. I asked him if this is how he plans on doing business and he then asked me to leave. Not sure if Im going to get either gun at this point. I didnt realize Id be such a burden as a customer.
