First please remove any and all pictures that were taken in the store. There was no request or permission for them to be used. If you feel the need to give a timeline of events please provide the complete details. You purchased this piece after a year of asking to be able to do knowing the piece had been purchased by a customer who was going through personal issues and had not been able to pick the piece up. You purchased it for a fourth of the original price due to the store didn’t feel right making money off of someone else’s hardship and because you had asked for a deep discount as you have on other pieces you have purchased in the past. You requested it be champagne gold inside and we did not charge you for the changes . When the hand painting began you were called in to look at the color and sheerness when applied. It was decided the color was wrong and the wood would not work with a hand painting due to the metallic paints are sheer and commonly used as accent color. You were told it would have to be spray painted to get the look you requested. Tou actually came to the store and looked at the piece in progress the week before delivery. Over half the inside had been done and you approved the painting. The shelves were forgotten when delivery was loaded but were brought to you the same afternoon. It was a honest mistake not done to cause any issues. Absolutely an honest mistake as they were by the front door when loading and simply left by mistake . The backing was a store mistake as it had been moved and was hidden by another piece in the work area. It was provided at the same time as the shelving. The shelves were sanded as they were made by a different vendor when the piece came in without them. They were sealed prior to painting. The delivery was on time. We attempted to work you in on Friday as you were insisting it be delivered. We called Friday and explained that our Conroe delivery had be held up by a customer not being home at the delivery timeframe. We explained it would be very late and the delivery help that day was not able to do your delivery upon their return to the store. We arranged last minute delivery the following morning at 10am. There is absolutely no overspray on the outside of the piece. It was done outside and taped and plastic was used to cover all surfaces. Again you came in the week before delivery and viewed the piece and the work in progress. You had no complaints. You requested the entire piece be sealed with topcoat to cover the wax used when originally done. It was explained to you that wax is porous but putting topcoat on top of wax can cause discoloration dependent on the amount of wax and the colors of the paints. So your remarks regarding the exterior were discussed prior to the process taking place. Thank you for your five star review even if you feel you received a product less than your expectations. Again, every step was explained to you, you viewed the work in progress and made a color change during the timeframe between purchase and delivery. At the time of purchase you were not charged for any of the materials or work. Nor were you charged when you made changes to color creating more material charges. And you purchased the piece at an extremely great deal. Oh and…. In Texas we all know what “bless your (their) heart” means. Wow!!! Enjoy the piece as you did view it when in progress and had every opportunity to make yet again more changes but didn’t. You approved and set up delivery. Enjoy, it’s the last piece.
