Old Mulberry Inn & Cottages

A friend and I stayed at the Old Mulberry in one of their adorable cottages this past weekend, and I highly recommend! Cottage was comfortable, quiet and very relaxing. 2-3 minute drive finds you in the amazing downtown. The owners are so very kind, and lets talk about breakfast. We loved every bite of our food all 3 mornings! Will definitely come back to stay anytime I I am in the area!

We are locals and my husband booked a Cottage for Valentines night. I honestly don't know how things could have been any better! It's like my wish was there command! They made special strawberry vegan cupcakes for us and the vegan breakfast was some of the best I've had! The space was very clean, VERY comfy bed, and quiet ...even though it was near the highway. Apparently our room was not booked for the next day so they told us to stay as long as we like! It was a memorable Valentines for sure!

We stayed over the weekend of April 5-7, 2024 and it was such a relaxing and refreshing stay. Lana & Glen are amongst the most lovely people. The breakfast was the most delicious we have had in a long time. We wouldnt mind going to their place just to eat breakfast if that was an option. Look forward to revisiting this place again. Rooms: We stayed in the cottage room. Was very cute with a patio to sit out and enjoy a cup of coffee. The bath tub was nice and big for two people. Nearby activities: We had visited Jefferson TX in 2021 as part of our trip to Caddo Lake. We wanted to explore Jefferson in its own right and the Ghost Tour and the quaint town feeling was really appealing. Walkability: Within 0.5 miles to all main touristic attractions of Jefferson. Food & drinks: Breakfast was out of this world.

The cottages are wonderful and very lovely setting in among the beautiful trees with a gazobo for outdoor enjoyment. . The host and hostess were wonderful and went above and beyond accommodating us during our stay. The food was fabulous. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place when visiting Jefferson. Nearby activities: Close to downtown Jefferson.
