Motel is old and has some minor maintenance issues with some wear and tear. Room was nice and clean and the bed was comfy. Television was a large screen, but unable to swivel it.

Sorry, this was the worst Best Western Ive ever stayed at, Ive been to dozens all over the world.
Its below average cleanliness in the bathroom, dirty, smudge stained bath matt folded and laying on the tub, broken appliances, coffee maker d.o.a., worn out matresses, breakfast was not very appealing, sausage literally tasted rotten, scrambled eggs had something green in large lumps inside, i couldnt eat it, the staff were not friendly, they ignored me, (5 feet away), for the whole 25 minutes sitting there on thier phones watching tv.
I bid them to have a good day and left.

Budget hotel that is dated. Night clerk was pleasant and got us our room quickly. Our room was clean and everything worked. Bed was comfy with clean sheets. Shower was average, but had plenty of hot water. Bring your own soap and shampoo! Rooms open to the outside. I felt safe and it wasn't too busy or noisy during our stay. We didn't use any of the hotel amenities.

Busy street with a smelly restaurant nearby. The staff were friendly and for the most part, very helpful.
Rooms: When we arrived the floors were dirty. They had been partially moped. The dirt wasnt removed but rather just spread around. There was dirty toilet paper on the bathroom floor.
We asked for a different room and they obliged us in a very friendly manner. Nice people work there.
The new room wasn't much cleaner. The floors were wet and we could see the dirt climbing the walls where it had just been splashed around.
The toilet didn't work. For the entire visit, we either had to use the plunger for every tiny piece of toilet paper or, best option, go downstairs, and use the bathroom at the front desk.
Nearby activities: There were some lovely wild trails and parks within driving distance. We enjoyed canoeing at Martin Dies Jr. State Park.
Food & drinks: The Saturday morning hot breakfast was pleasant, nothing special but it was good enough. We were informed upon checking in that Sunday and Monday morning breakfast was a continental selection. Disappointing, since one of the reasons we chose this place was because of the hot breakfast.
Sunday morning's continental selection did not include any bread, toast or oatmeal. There were a few tired little mini-muffins that were leftover from the day before. No fruit. Coffee. No tea. There was yogurt which was nice. We basically, left it and went out to eat at a local restaurant.
