        I recently had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Gicheru at Lasercare Eye Center. Could not be happier with the results. Dr. Gicheru and his staff did a great job explaining to me my options and what to expect during and after surgery. I found the surgery itself to be painlessin fact, one of the easiest procedures Ive ever had done. Dr. Gicheru and the entire staff were great! I chose a Toric lens since I have astigmatism and was primarily concerned with seeing distance. I only wear glasses now for up close work or when reading. I am amazed at how well I see, especially at night! Dr. Gicheru also did cataract surgery on my wife two years agoand I went to Dr. Gicheru based on her experience and recommendation. My wife is a quilter, so seeing up close when she is sewing as well as seeing at distance is very important to her. For this reason, she chose a PanOptix lens. My wife no longer wears glasses of any kind and, like me, is very pleased.
