Perkdale Cakes & Coffee

We stopped by this cute little bakery one day and purchased delicious chocolate chip cookies. So tasty!!!! And the person who helped us was friendly and super helpful. We can't wait to try everything else they make!

Walked in to an up and coming gem! I was quickly greeted by Karen with her sweet and excited smile, happily telling me about the tarts she pulled out of the oven 30 minutes ago. I came in for a latte and walked out with cookies, a tart and a chocolate delicacy. They had a small team returning from the farmers market as we were leaving. Looking forward to what this simple shop does soon as they are looking to expand. We'll be back soon!

Ive been here twice. The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because the customer service was excellent both times...however, the same pie I purchased one slice of on my first visit (Monday) was the same one they tried to sell to me on my second visit later on in the week. I went ahead and purchased it the second time just in case I was wrongbut unfortunately it wasnt. It wasnt fresh. It was cold and tasted old. I get that its a small, new business but selling old things to customers is never good. If I wanted an old, frozen pie I wouldve gotten it at the grocery store.
