I purchased the Helicopter CFI course almost a year ago, but purposefully had not logged in or downloaded the software to activate it until today knowing that I only had 1 year to use it. When I called the support department I was told I actually activated the software the day I purchased it. Not sure why their policy doesnt just say 1 year from purchase to make it more clear. Anyway, a young and clearly smarter than me instructor returned my call to tell me I should in no way be confused, that I should have known their policy after reading it the first time, that their policy has not changed in 20 years and that I should somehow be relieved in knowing that. He was incredibly rude, disrespectful and extremely condescending. That was the least empathetic customer service experience I have ever had. Id never use this company again and would never recommend them to anyone. They are not kind people and clearly do not care about others.
