Russel and his crew have completed 3 projects - cabin build on stilts, house remodel and fire repair to free standing garage. I have recommenced his company and they have been satisfied customers. They have tackled difficult projects with craftsmanship. There prices are usually lower than other bids without sacrificing quality. True Texas Construction has done several major renovations projects for us with beautiful results and always exceeded our expectations. Russell Vaughns expertise, attention to details and high standards are evident before you even walk through our front door. Starting with complete renovation of our front porch, he kept it true to its 1890 charm and character (even while using modern materials for the decking, railings and columns to minimize upkeepwill never need painting!). Inside, he leveled floors and installed new flooring (again keeping the character of an old house); remodeled our second floor into two separate rooms and updated the bathroom; and renovated a sleeping porch into a beautiful sun room with big windows and french doors leading out to a deck (also designed and built by Russell). Lastly, he built a car port for our RVwe had no idea what we wanted for this but Russell proposed quite a few designs/options thoroughly going over pros and cons of each. Russell and his team are trustworthy , skilled, respectful, and professional in every thing they do. A bonus is they cleaned up everything at the end of each day. We cant say enough great things about this company!! Oh! Almost forgot to mention the ramp he built when he found out my husband was having knee replacement surgerywe didnt ask for it, he just did it at no charge! Russel and his entire team at True Texas were more than proffesional. They were honest, up front, personable, and flexible. They kept the project in budget without it ever looking or feeling like it was on a limited budget. More so than that is the fact that their relationship with the customer does not end when they receive the last check. Russel and his team have been a constant source of support, advice, and direction on a multitude of other honey do home projects. Without a doubt they are the very best in Texas. Excellent choice! Russell and his team have are highly skilled builders. They designed and completed two building projects for us and weve been very pleased with the results. Russell is trustworthy and stands behind his work. I wouldnt hesitate to hire him again!!
