Kwik Kar Lube & Tune

Used Groupon for a oil change today. Had to pay an extra $17 in fees that were not mentioned on Groupon. Will not be back & will let my friends not to go. Never been to a place that charge an additional $17 in fees for an oil change.

TLDR; yes I recommend. Shaun helped me but everybody seemed nice. So Ive been in the market for a new mechanic the last 2 years. My old place wasnt as friendly or affordable anymore. You know your place isnt nice or affordable when they start charging to run the codes on your car when so many places do it for free. So I had to goto auto zone to get my code scanned and buy the part I needed. When I inquired if the quote by my OLD mechanic shop was reasonable, the woman working at AutoZone recommended I try Kwik Kar. She said she normally goes to a different location, but that this Kwik Kar location was right down the street and she believed it was a good company. She had never actually been to this specific location, but still I thought Id try it. And Im so glad I did. I wont get into numbers here but I will say Shaun stepped up and solved my problem immediately. I could not be any more appreciative. It feels so good when you find people who do things the right way, are friendly, and dont charge you an arm and a leg. Car repairs are expensive! So every little bit helps and is appreciated, and I will be returning to this location for service every time from now on until I no longer agree with my review. Even if its it out of my way and I pass several shops on the way. Hopefully I get many years out of this location (and my fixed car!) and thank you Shaun! While waiting for our oil change we heard an employee get a smart mouth with a customer who ended up leaving to get services elsewhere. They tried to upsell services to me (after checking the vehicle) that were not needed including changing the transmission fluid which had literally just been done so obviously not needed. Then they tried to over charge me. I was using a Groupon and had read the fine print and knew what the extra charges should be but they were charging more than advertised. I explained that charging more than advised is against the law and the guy ringing us up got mad and walked off and had a different employee finish ringing us up. I explained that they cannot charge more than what is advertised in the fine print and I was told they didnt have to honor what Groupon says which is inaccurate and then my spouse pointed out the sign they had displayed by the register which literally said the same prices that the Groupon fine print said. The employee took the sign down and begrudgingly changed the price on my bill. I dont feel this location is honest, transparent, or professional. I would not recommend.
