I reached out to Hector for help with an audit. It took me a while to get the receipts and once I emailed him the documents he never even responded to my emails. I sent him multiple emails asking if he could help me, or if I had to pay a retainer but he never even responded to say no I can't help you. Nothing!

I hired this guy to do my taxes several years ago. He did them for several years. Then one year, he prepared my tax forms, I signed them electronically and I sent a check to the irs for the amount I owed. Hector was supposed to file the tax forms electronically. I found out two years later that Hector had failed send the forms. I was hit with a $5,000 failure to file penalty and Hector left me holding the bag. He failed in his most basic responsibility as an accountant and cost me $5,000. I would not recommend trusting this guy with your taxes.

Late, slow, incompetent and mediocre is how Id describe this practice. Generally clueless firm, anywhere else is probably better.

Does great work when it comes to telling you what all you can write off and "guessing" everything in between. All I can say is better hope you don't get in an audit with the IRS because he will charge you thousands and thousands of dollars to go back and forth with them and then when it comes down to the very last second and its time to respond to an appeals officer they send you another invoice for thousands of dollars demanding you to pay it with no detailed invoice or explanation of what was done. When you ask what the invoice is for he will just terminate you leaving you in the dust and not get YOUR personal files to the new cpa you had to hire out of desperation to get you out of what they got me in.
