Memorial Hermann Surgery Center West Houston

Phone number does not work, neither does contact us on the website and main part of Memorial Hermann has no way to get in contact with them. This is unacceptable on so many level. Basic Customer Service requires communication. They nuke the first pillar on proper Customer Service.

I had a surgery here recently and having read the negative reviews I was a little nervous going in. However, this place far exceeded my expectations with the friendly, professional and efficient staff. The nurses were very caring and checked on me frequently when I was waiting for the doctor to make sure I was feeling ok. Perhaps I was lucky to have my surgery early on a Friday when it was less busy. Great experience overall!

The care here is about as basic as you can get. The nurse staff Was okay just didn't act like they're really wanted to be there. I was having problems with panic and anxiety And one of the nurses just shut the curtain and let me suffer.Kept asking for the anesthesiologist had to wait an exorbitant time for her to get there to help me with this. They don't keep your family updated on anything either. Just a rather cold environment with very little bed side Manner

Not sure what happened to this place. It use to have top notch care and responsive staff. It seems things have gone a bit downhill lately. It is very very difficult to get ahold of someone for pre-op care and questions. No one wants to answer the phone, and you get immediately sent to voice mail. In addition, you never know what time your supposed to be there because staff doesn't call until the day before your procedure. This makes it very difficult to coordinate having someone take you and pick you up. The nurses seem to be a bit over worked and kind of shut down. So if you go there be prepared to be treated in the manner they feel, "shut down". I guess healthcare has indeed really taken a nose dive with COVID and other issues. I hope this place is able to hire more staff and do a better job when dealing with patients and their doctors.
