Ask for Bernice! Viet-Cajun oysters were excellent. Also, if you are having one of the steaks, the GJ Steak/Chimichurri Sauces are a must try. I look forward to coming back to try more entrees!!

I graduated college with an Electrical Engineering degree which enabled me to work at several well known, large corporations. I moved several times during my 30 year career including California, Utah and Pennsylvania. The job i had in Utah included frequent travel to places like Montana, North and South Dakota and wyoming. I also traveled overseas on business. The point being that I have had steaks ln a lot of places that are known for their beef production accompanied by fantastic Steak restaurants. I recently moved to Houston and my daughters took me to Georgia James for dinner on my birthday. It was the first time I'd been there. I had the BEST STEAK I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE. I had the Porterhouse and it was delicious! Perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. I will definitely be back and have already recommended your establishment to several friends... Kudos Georgia James!
