EastView HealthCare & Rehabilitation Center

My dad was here for 20 days. We had rocky start, getting all the paperwork approved, touring the facility & transporting my dad from the hospital to the rehab center was the biggest challenge. Fidia, one of the PCA there is the best thing that happened to us. That lady works so hard and truly cares for the people she helps. The PTA & OTA are really nice people, they stay positive, they care and motivate all patients to keep moving. Permanent nurses are good. Part-time/Temporary nurses needs some improvement. Doctors are ok. Recently I have a met some really good doctors so my expectations are probably higher than what Rehab Centers have.

Healthcare is demanding and u til your certificated or not only that just have to heart to choose the profession, always seek information for self I am certified NA & will be joining their team , teamwork makes the dream work! As yall and we all know some people Do not like working!!! Unfortunately

I'm the activities director here at Eastview and we make trips every other month and do so many fun things I love to keep out residents engaged and I will go above and beyond to make our residents happy. You have to have a special heart and kind soul to work in healthcare. I have been at eastview since 2021 and it's been a great experience for me.

Please do not leave your family at this facility, if you do please check on them daily. Some of the staff was excellent while dealing with my family member, some of the nurses lack compassion. They will leave you standing at the door looking at you looking at them knowing they need to let you in.
