Dr Altamira is the Best Plastic Surgeon one could have for care. Most caring, compassionate, bedside manner, knowledgeable, skilled, artist for reconstruction after mastectomy. Dr Altamira is a perfectionist who treats you as an important person/patient and makes you feel comfortable from first appointment through recovery. He goes the extra mile during your care as well as his amazing staff. They return phone calls and accommodate in every way possible. They make sure your recovery is as pain free as possible. Dr Altamira explains and answers all questions in a way you can understand. He is calm and confident in a way that helps relieve your anxieties. You are never rushed in and out of appointments. Dr Altamira spends plenty of time with you during appointments and when he tells you something wont be painful hes totally right! Even when I called about an issue he had me come in to make certain everything was ok which is was confirmed after his examination. This was a few years after the surgeries hed done. (Breast reconstruction then a Ventral Hernia repair). He told me he knew a doctor when he knew more of the new issue, but actually had his surgical notes pulled then talked to the surgeon he was recommending prior to getting back to me. It was only a few days when I an appointment with the surgeon he was recommending. They already had the information from Dr Altamira before I called for an appointment! Extremely caring for all this! Could not ask for anything more. Hes the only Plastic Surgeon Id go to if ever needed again.
