Dr. Mark Khorsandi, DO

A whole hearted thank you to Dr. Khorsandi and staff. I've had migraines since I was 7 years old. As the years progressed the migraines just got worse and worse to the point I swear I thought my head would pop open from pain. I saw so many doctors went thru so many different medications. I then started loosing the ability to see and would loose feeling on my left side everytime a migraine hit. It was the stuff of nightmares. Then I found Dr. Korsandi. There is no cure for migraines, But with the right doctor in your corner they are manageable. Since I met Dr. Korsandi 7 years ago, I now no longer loose my sight or feeling on my left side when a migraine hits. That in its self is a sheer miracle I'm grateful for every day. Under Dr. Khorsandi's care and treatment my migraines are a lot more manageable. I was even able to get married! So once again Thank you to Dr. Korsandi and staff for being in my corner.

I had hand surgery here about 2 years ago. The photos attached are from today. Broken and dislocated. I paid $8000 out of pocket for surgery, and he didnt fix anything. The break healed improperly, and my hand is still dislocated on my dominant hand. I live with constant pain and a hand with 2 permanently dislocated metacarpals. Whatever you do, DO NOT GO HERE! On top of everything, their reception just doesnt answer your phone calls. I called hundreds of times trying to ask them about the surgery, recovery time, and all the normal information youd need to know, and they didnt answer one single time. I called morning, noon, and night, so unless they take an 8 hour lunch, theyre ignoring their patients. These people will take your money, and then never answer you again. And if you go to the office, dr. Korsandi is conveniently never there. Good luck to anyone who ignores this, I hope it works out better for you. But I must insist on finding a different surgeon.

In December Dr. Khorsandi diagnosed me with De Quervain's Tenosynovitis. The main symptoms are pain and tenderness in the wrist, often below the base of the thumb. He tried treating it with a steroid injection, medication, and having me wear a brace, but to no avail. I saw him again on February 2, 2023 in severe pain and he determined that I would need to have surgery. I would like you to know that his staff worked so efficiently and professionally to get me scheduled for surgery as quickly as possible. Surgery was scheduled for the very next day. When I awoke from my surgery I experienced absolutely no pain. There was immediate relief. Dr. Khorsandi was very caring and his bed side manner was incomparable. Prior to the surgery he came and spoke to me and explained the procedure and assured me that I would fine, and pain free immediately. He did not tell a lie. I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am to him. I have had 2 follow-up appointments and each time I was in and out of the office. No long waiting. If you ever need a hand specialist, I highly recommend Dr. Mark Khorsandi of Hand Surgery Specialists of Houston. I am one highly satisfied patient. I wish I could give him 10 stars. Thank you Dr. Khorsandi!!!!
