The store manager named Jay after hearing my issue, he gave me a solution. Being that I work out of town and I dont have no time. This was the perfect solution at the perfect time. Much appreciated. And highly recommended.

I went to 3 different glasses stores before going here. I had a terrible experience at every one. My son needed his first pair of glasses which I had no experience in that department and Jay was extremely helpful! Thank you again Jay!

STANTON OPTICAL IS A SCAM UPDATE: This is THE WORST pair of glasses I have ever had. The MOST EXPENSIVE pair of glasses I have ever had, too. The warranty, which you will need, is only 1 year. The glasses WILL BREAK, again and again. Why do I know the glasses will break? Because they are cheap and the scrip they write is incorrect, which will cause you to have to readjust your glasses until they finally break. One Stanton Optical location even broke my glasses beyond repair, while examining them when I took them in for a simple adjustment, then had the gall to attempt to sell me new glasses, lenses and all. Original Review: They insist you review them, in-store, and ask for 5 star review right there while they watch, pressuring you to "tell them if there's anything that would warrant less than 5 stars" Well, you can't call the store once you leave, so here I write: My glasses were broken. They forced me into "progressive lenses". I've never needed multifocal lenses before in my life. It's classic age discrimination. Most expensive glasses I've ever had... >$900! and I still don't have them. Over a month and no glasses. I can't see 4" past my nose. I'm an artist--I can't work or do anything without glasses and so I've now been out of work for over a month. Terrible waste of time and money. This is making me poor. Re response from Owner: This is a terrible way to communicate with customers. I'm very upset. You are very difficult to get a hold of, it's impossible to call the location. Still no one has reached out to me. You have had my glasses in stock since Sept 8, I find out just now, 09/23/2022 at 18:48...48 minutes after you closed, because I called and got lucky that someone can find my file. Your open hours on Google and in your own system are wrong. This isn't typical? How many other people don't know you are supposed to have a CHOICE between multi-focal, progressive, or monofocal lenses? I'm sorry, this seems typical. I was not given any choice. I know for fact that the eye test did not indicate that I needed a prescription for reading while wearing properly refracted lenses. And even if it had, I should have a Choice to not have progressive nor multifocal lenses. I'm blind without glasses, and have been since I was 8 years old thanks to an attack by a bully: a baseball bat to my head. I should never in my life need multifocal lenses, because my vision is so bad that it must be corrected for 4" from my nose. This has been the most costly pair of glasses in >30 years of wearing them. My vision has been stable for 20 years, and I used to buy exclusively Zeiss or Oakley optics. This time, I'm on a tight budget, and somehow, it costs me 3x. This story, from the other reviews....it sounds kind of typical I've never in my life been quoted $900+ for lenses I'm not impressed with the response here, nor the customer service on the phone.

Revising this review as events have changed my outlook. My partner's glasses, which we dropped $900 on altogether between the two of us, have broken the exact same way twice, and are beyond repair. These glasses were the most expensive either of us have ever purchased, more expensive that Oakley frames, and they've fallen apart. Glasses should last for years (I'm Wearing a pair that I bought in 2015). There are no optometrists on site. The doctors operate via a remote zoom session that occurs in thebezam room.if they misgiagnose, which they did in my partner's case, they pretty much just say "so sorry charlie". They will also ask you to post a five star review, which I did at the time while I was in the store. These guys are crooks and you shouldn't waste your money. Go to a reputable optometrist and spare yourself the money and frustration.
