Excellent care for a brain bleed caused by a fall. Both Dr Essayed and his nurse practitioner DJ are very nice people taking time to answer questions and give reassurance.

Dr Essayed was amazing doctor as the following happened to me. I fell backwards in a parking lot after attending an event at Reliant stadium. I did not catch my fall and landed on the back of my head which resulted in knocking me unconscious . After coming to I spend 4 hours at home until I was rushed to the ICU at Memorial Herman. I was diagnosed with a brain injury with bleeding in my head and was admitted. Dr Essayed was assigned to my diagnosis and care. He not only was precessional in his evaluation of my situation but warm and caring. Dr Essayed was knowledgeable and spoke to me regarding my situation and injury on a level I could understand. Having Dr. Essayed care relaxed my mental state to relax and focus on the steps I needed to follow to get better and recover. Dr. Essayed and Donna his nurse not only cared for me while in the ICU they followed up in phone called when I was released. After three weeks and another CT exam I had a follow up office visit with Dr. Essayed at his office at UT Health Houston. Again the staff was personal and caring and Donna and Dr Essayed again meet with me for a personal follow up and diagnosis, I cant say enough how impressed I was by Dr. Essayed and his staff knowledge and precessional care with a personal caring touch. Its nice to know I not only have a great doctor in Dr.Essayed but a friend who cares about my mental and heath care. Thanks to Dr. Essayed and his staff. Sincerely Katherine
