Update: "DO NOT GO HERE....every time I have called and tried to speak to someone it's H E double hockey sticks! I still have my daughter admitted in here. This is the place where personnel would be the reason your loved one would kill themselves. I don't know where they get these employees from but it seems like none of them are trained properly, they even act and treat you like they are miserable at their job and like you owe them something. As a Medical Assistant, I am a strong believer in doing your job right and with love, after all, you chose the job! If you don't like what you do then why did you go into the field?? Unfortunately, this facility the only one taking my daughters insurance, and now I see why. I hope the state is not providing funding for these kind of places. In the beginning they act like they are caring, understanding and the best one yet, they claim they are compassionate. THEY ARE NOTHING LIKE THIS. They don't care about these patients. They are so incompetent and unorganized. I know they be in their best behavior when the institutions top people are doing a walk through, unless they don't care either. These facilities are what these insurance providers need to cover for those needing help urgently." I have had my grandbaby in this facility and he came home saying he would get beat up by other kids and the staff never did anything about it. Unfortunately, I did not have any proof so I wasn't able to do anything about it. Last night his mother was admitted but upon arrival the woman that was going to do her vitals came out with an attitude right from the start. I don't know her name since she was mad because we did not want her to take care of my daughter and slammed the door on my daughters face but she is Hispanic and I guess all the tattoos she has all the way up to her throat make her feel superior, I don't know, I guess the ink messed with her head but the attitude and experience was not needed for my daughter considering the reason why she was crying out for help and agreed to go there. I just pray my daughter gets the help she needs and not come out of there with a case on her because of the people that seem to want to trigger the reason she is there for to begin with. Unfortunately, her insurance is only accepted there and we have no other choice since we are low income. THIS IS SAD!!!!

10/10 I was here last year in October and was in pathways. Best therapists and nurses and get to use your phone and go outside. Best hospital experience ever. Lots of food and I liked how you can interact with the other pods when smoking and eating and food is good. My experience here was a trip for me but it also can get very very boring I wish there was other activities while in the psych hospital. But ngl it gets boring and there should be more activities than TV. Abigail and Genevie are the best help Ive ever had.

Sun is a great hospital ,the nurse's and the doctor's and the MHT and other organizations are doing so very well, when u come the sun u will get all the treatment with love and care,my friend told me that her son was once in the sun sometime ago and her sun is better now, that if ur child have behavioral issues when u take him or her there ,they will be better and their manners will change.so I recommend any one that have mental health issues and behavioral issues to go to sun.,the supervisor's and the CEO there ,they are so organized and understand everyone, they are so calm to listen in what ever u say.infact everyone is doing fantastic job.i must appreciate what the company is doing.the great hospital are doing do wonderful , people that say bad thing about they have behavioral issues too they need help, this hospital is the best hospital among the one I see before.good job sun.
