THIS IS NOT SACRED OAK ,EDICAL CENTER ANYMORE. THIS IS BEHAVIORAL MEDICAL HOSPITAL AND PART OF A HUGE CORPORATION DON'T if you care about your family member don't send them here. I was trying to get help for my 83 year old mother with dementia. She just came to live with me and I wanted to get her stabilized on her meds. All this was VOLUNTARY BUT THEY WON'T LET HER LEAVE. She is scared to death I can hear people screaming in the background when I call. My mother is bedridden and they have no facilities for her to use the phone, they hardly answer the phone. I am constantly told to call back in 30 minutes and then they say she's asleep or they have other patients to take care of. Yet they only allow calls 2-4 & 7-9 visits can only be for 30 minutes between 2-4 weekdays no weekend visiting hours. My poor mother has only been there 24 hours and she has been set back years in her condition. I was told how lucky was because they had one bed available . Because the girl who tried to kill herself didn't have insurance. I would gladly have paid for that girl to get the bed because my mother is suffering. I just wanted her to get help with her meds and now the co CEO's and the P.R. person don't want to release my mother the insurance cash cow. Don't let them fool you it's all about the money. They don't have her medical records, they don't know her medication list, they don't know anything about her. However Dr. Loyola has to keep her because I won't co-operate with them holding her against her will.
