Gisela was so great to work with for my wedding. Not only is she a sweetheart as a person but I loved my hair and makeup! I was referred to her by another bride. Looking back, I realize that I never gave a second thought to retouching my makeup all day. When I saw myself, I still looked the same. I just reapplied lipstick once and that was it! The only change I would make is to request flexible hold hairspray instead of strong hold but that's just my preference. Thank you do much!

We used Bella Expressions for hair and make up for my wedding day. Gisela did the makeup and Karla did the hair. Both were very personable and easy to talk to. The hair and make up turned out really well for everyone. My only complaints are I was trying to get in touch with them to change the time for the wedding day and it seemed a bit difficult to reach them. I finally spoke with them and went over the timeline etc. when everyone needed to be ready by. I was under the impression that they needed 5 hours for all 5 of us so I wanted to change the time to 11a-4pm as everyone needed to be ready by 4. We agreed on 11:30-4:30pm but having everyone be ready by 4pm as pictures started then. She even said this gives enough time in case any changes need to be made for anyones hairstyle or makeup. I wanted to book this time slot that way from 4:30-5:30pm I could pay the extra hour for hair to stay in case I needed a touch up after the first look. The day of the wedding since we were done at 4, I was told I would then need to pay for an hour and a half for hair to stay for touch up. This is why I had originally contacted the company for the time change as I did not want to waste anyones time or pay for unnecessary time. Ultimately I was not charged for an hour and a half after talking about the situation. Additionally, Karla was staying the extra hour to do hair touch ups after the first look. The photographer began to take pictures of me (the bride) and Karla was also taking pictures of her work (the hair) which she had taken pictures and videos of before the photographer arrived. The photographer mentioned to not take any pictures as that is their work. I completely understand both sides as the photographer has their work as in their lighting, ideas and staging etc. and I also understand that the hair is Karlas work. However, it seemed like a little debacle ensued and it was just really uncomfortable. I feel like this is something that can be discussed with each other reasonably and without the bride having to hear any of it. I felt like some of that wasted my time with the photographer as now this argument was happening between the two. There was also a comment that was made that youre the most unprofessional photographer I have ever met. I just felt like this was very unprofessional and something a bride should not have to deal with on their wedding day. In the end, things ran late and by the time I got back from the first look it was already after 5:30 and that was the ending time for her to be there anyways. The company was good, I just wish the communication were a bit better and a little more professional. Services: Hairstyling, Special occasion makeup, Bridal makeup, Eyelash extensions

The most amazing group to have on our wedding doing hair and makeup! Very responsive, on time and did an amazing job. They brought my hair and makeup dreams to life! Gisela and her team were amazing! We had 8 HMU total (bride, bridesmaids, MoB, MoG) with a firm finish time of 1:30 PM to start on pictures. Gisela got us done early with plenty of time to take our time with first looks and transportation logistics. Her team was right on time and very sweet and personable. I loved my bridal look - I was worried about smudging with a red lip but Gisela somehow cemented the lipstick on. I got through 12 hours with minimal touchups and my make-up and hair looked wonderful still at the end of the night! For the price and quality, I definitely recommend Bella Expressions!
