I contacted five different drainage/landscaping companies and Earth Ideas was the only one that would come out and quote the work at no cost. Mike and his crew did an exceptional job restoring my backyard drainage system at a fair price. I will be calling on them for any future drainage/landscaping work.

called to get a quote. Receptionist lady placed me on hold immediately before I could say hello. Once she got back on the phone she spoke in a very rude tone and manner. She spoke faster than any Looney Tunes character known to mankind. Could barely understand her. I dont think she was interested in providing business to me. So be careful before considering them as a vendor. If they cant even be respectful to you as a customer over the phone or sound enthusiastic to help you--imagine how they will treat you once they get their deposit? Just an update after I posted my intitial review above: Mr. Brian, two things wrong with saying you dont know who I am. Firstly, if the first impression on the phone had been a good experience, the relationship between vendor and customer would have moved beyond a phone call to an actual project/business. And thats how you get to know someone better. Secondly, clearly you are aware of who I am since you called me and left me 2 voicemails. I would like the public to know the first voicemail expressed an apology and for me to give you a call back. And for the record, I was going to call back to clarify any misunderstandings because I appreciated your phone call. But before I could do that... You proceeded to leave a second voicemail stating I am spiteful and mean. And saying that basically I don't have the right to leave a review regarding my experience with my first point of contact (the receptionist). And then you went ahead and changed your response to my google review from being an apology to "I am going to get this review removed." I think the voicemails and my experience this morning with the receptionist is proof enough to NOT use this company as their behavior is similar to chameleons. I am very grateful that this event occurred versus moving forward with someone like you and possibly experiencing worse behaviors/reactions down the road. And yes you will receive two reviews. Your company was on the phone with two separate human beings. A husband and a wife that are both owners and have an equal say in decisions regarding large projects that they are serious about. And two people that are taking time out of their day to find an appropriate vendor. Thank you for wasting my time and have blessed day!

Earth Ideas Landscaping did an amazing job at my home today. I obtained 4 quotes for my drainage project and decided to hire Earth Ideas because the scope of the work was tailored to my needs and I really liked the detail of Mike's plan/estimate write up. Very specific, detailed and allowed me to get a visual of what the results would look like. Mike came out and evaluated my project and thoroughly explained what needed to be done to solve my drainage issues. The office staff were great and kept me informed along the way. There pricing is great and they will work with you as well. The day the work was completed, the project lead was very friendly and walked me through the work process. He kept me informed throughout the work and I was very impressed with their attention to detail and thoroughness. For example, the other quotes I received did not include cutting the concrete curb, running the drain pipe under the sidewalk and to the street. I was impressed with even the concrete work they did to replace what was cut out to install the drain. Hard working crew. They were also very careful when digging to ensure my sprinkler system was not affected. If I had questions, he answered them effectively and assured me they would take care of things. I highly recommend Earth Ideas.
