A recently remodeled hotel but thats it. We stayed in room 208. AC didnt work, phone didnt work, shower took forever to heat up. Room was extremely small and not suitable for family with children. We asked for a new room but the front desk insisted sending handyman to fix the issues, by taking the cover of the AC. Now it is a hazard for my toddler. Upgraded review to 2-star because of the front desk and the handyman who tried to solve the issues. But overall wont be back.

A hidden gem among Galleria hotels. This used to be the Indigo and is now the Vesper a French kinda bohemian style boutique hotel. We love the small hotel feel while still being a Marriott property. The small hotel feel extends to the staff - from the friendly and warm front desk staff to the wonderful breakfast/coffee shop team. Another plus point, no mandatory valet so your ins and outs are easier and quicker. There is good security at night at the parking lot and you can be in the Galleria mall in minutes (just a short half a block walk). Pro-tip try to not get the rooms facing the Galleria to avoid loud very early morning dumpster truck traffic noises on some days. Despite being on the highest floor, the sound was still loud enough to wake me from my sleep. Rooms: Rooms are well appointed and chic-ly decorated. Walkability: Just a short walk to the Galleria mall Food & drinks: The breakfast venue services light and healthy options at reasonable prices.
