Holiday Inn Express & Suites Houston Westchase - Westheimer, an IHG Hotel

This hotel is located on Westheimer, amidst a smorgasbord of restaurant and entertainment choices. There is free covered parking in the hotels dedicated parking garage, and the staff at the service desk was welcoming and friendly. I requested and received a top floor room, which featured a modern look and an impressive view of the surrounding area. The bed was comfortable and the television was a new model large screen. I would definitely stay here again.

Please do not book with these scam artists. They would rather make a quick buck than offer and provide good caring service. Absolutely horrible management and service. Straight up 0/10. Tried to check in only to be told that a manager canceled my reservation because apparently I called in and told them I couldnt make it because of weather related reasons. Now why would I even show up to the hotel if that was the case. They straight up lied and tried to gaslight me into thinking I was in the wrong. It was late at night and we were almost stuck with no hotel. The front desk lady (Shan(?)) was offering 0 help or assistance. She was unempathetic and unhelpful.

Overall, my stay at Holiday Inn was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly. The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast - delicious and varied options to start the day off right. The rooms were comfortable and clean, providing a relaxing environment to unwind after a busy day. Rooms: Clean. Food & drinks: Breakfast included.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel on a recent overnight to Houston. We found the hotel clean and the staff to be friendly and helpful. There was a boys baseball tournament going on in the area, so lots of young boys running around. Our kids are older now, but we remember those days. I think this Westchase property is a nice one and would recommend it. We'll be back! Rooms: The rooms were clean, with fresh, clean carpet and fresh linens and towels.

The 1* review is primarily for the extra charges to my credit card after my departure. About a week after I had checked out, I saw extra charges totaling $78 in addition to the room charges on the receipt I was given at checkout. I called the hotel and was told to call back to speak with the gen manager, Kareem. I called back 4-5 times but was never allowed to speak with Kareem. I requested they have him call me, but never received a call. So I drive back to the hotel on my off day to try to address. Kareem was not there and they were so busy, I was not able to speak with anyone. I call IHG as a platinum rewards patron, but they said billing disputes must be addressed with the specific property management. The moral of this review is beware of this hotel. They have serious ethical issues and shady business practices.
