Courtyard by Marriott Houston I-10 West/Park Row

We were visiting from San Antonio and stayed 2 nights. The front desk staff was courteous, and we loved the location. The only downside is that the room had a musty/damp smell to it and not very pleasant or welcoming.

We were staying at this hotel often but will not stay here again. We are Titanium Elite and when we asked for a late check out that was supposed to be guaranteed for 4pm, Alex at the front desk told us 2pm was the best she could do. The hotel was empty and and she was less than flexible, at best. She told us that we needed to ask before the day of checkout which is in fact not true however, I had called and asked them a couple days prior to my arrival. I think she needs training on Titanium Elite benefits. When the Marriott Titanium rep called her he mentioned she was not willing to give us the extra 45 minutes and was not budging. It was disappointing since we only asked for an extra 45 minutes. There are too many hotels in the area to have to stay at this one and experience this service. Not a great hotel for someone with status.
