I've been working with Dr. Houser since I was diagnosed with Stage 3C Triple Negative Breast Cancer in March 2022. She was instrumental in guiding me on supplements, diet, and more through 22 months of chemotherapy, 33 rounds of radiation, and This year, she became the principal investigator of a study in Honduras investigating an experimental device and cancer treatment called Targeted Osmotic Lysis (TOL). The treatment has so far produced miraculous results for me. I cannot thank her enough. I am speechless, but this pioneering woman gave me my life back and I am forever in her debt.

I've been meaning to write a review for Dr. Houser for several weeks, but I've been busy dealing with my reasons for visiting her clinic. Having been her patient for a few months now, it's well past time that I wrote this commentary, so here goes... I worked in healthcare when I was younger, both in the military and in the civilian sector as a combat medic, EMT, and ER technician. As well, my undergrad degree is in the health sciences, so I believe I have enough experience and education to make a reasonably sound assessment of a physician's skills and bedside manner. In my opinion, Dr. Houser is absolutely one of the brightest physicians I have ever worked with, both as a patient and in the clinical setting. Besides that, she is incredibly knowledgeable and her education and credentials are impeccable to boot. Moreover, she does not suffer from the sort of "god syndrome" that many physicians seem to have. If she doesn't know something she'll tell you so, and she'll then research authoritative sources to find an answer for you. Those who are skeptical of "other than mainstream" approaches to medicine will be pleased to know that her approach is evidence-based and supportive of mainstream treatments. Yet, she maintains an attitude of curiosity and receptiveness to new evidence and emerging developments in complementary/holistic medicine and healthcare. Finally, she cares about her patients, and she is not afraid to show it. Certainly she maintains a professional demeanor, always. Yet, she is one of the rare physicians I have known who is willing to let their guard down to comfort a distraught, fearful, or nervous patient. If you're facing a recent cancer diagnosis and you need someone to help you navigate the minefield of mainstream and complimentary treatment options, contact the Center for Collaborative Medicine and see Dr. Houser. You'll be glad you did.
