We had Allied Outdoor Solutions install Carvestone on our deck and around our pool in 2017 and it went quite well, initially. The color did eventually fade over time, but the primary issue was cracking. Obviously, the ground in SE Texas tends to shift and concrete tends to crack. Well, this stuff cracks right along with it and will then start to flake (it's only about 1/8" thick). We brought them back out 7 years later reseal the deck and freshen up the color along with "fixing" the cracks and flaked areas. Unfortunately, their approach was to grind out the cracks and flakes, which left gaps over 2" wide in some areas, which they just filled with mastic. It didn't look very good at all. They also did not replace the mastic around the coping of the pool with this refreshing, although they did in several other locations (until the installer ran out of mastic). When I asked if they could come back out and finish caulking around the perimeter of the pool, they wanted $4 per linear foot to complete the job (note that my pool's perimeter is nearly 150'!). I obviously, wasn't going to pay this, as I can easily do it myself for around $40. Evidently, it wasn't spelled out in our contract and, even though it was implied, that didn't matter. I was just surprised they did not want to satisfy their customer when I paid over $2900 for the refresh which took their contractor less than 6 hours to complete.

I had been shopping around for weeks looking around for a quality concrete patio resurfacing company. Most of the work I witnessed honestly looked like cheap watercoloring on top of a preformed concrete layer. And the prices were kinda outrageous for that level of work and quality I witnessed. Then I kept running across ads from Allied Solutions and all their patio makeovers looked...well sorta like real stone inlays with the material they used and the color schemes were quite pleasant. Got a quote... VERY reasonable vs the very expensive companies that were showing me junk. Very professional. They measured twice, scheduled on our calendar, and didn't ask for the full payment upfront at all...another plus. The consultation phase with my wife was great as they literally showed what the finished product would look like on an example board with the color scheme being made on the spot. Took a day of prep, a day to do the overpayment and staining... Boom. Beautiful new patio. Highly recommend you talk to Stephen Davis and Richard Rogers @Allied Solutions and get yourself a quality patio makeover. Total professionals from start to finish!

We had a great experience of working with Allied to redo our pool deck. They were so thorough in describing all the options and everyone we came in contact with was so knowledgeable. The guys who actually did the work were artists in what they do and it showed. When the project manager wasn't totally satisfied with some work, he had his team come back out to redo some areas. We are so happy with the carvestone that we chose.

The Allied team kept us updated on the status and the next steps throughout the project. The craftsmanship was excellent. We are very pleased with the final product.
