Homewood Suites By Hilton Houston IAH Airport Beltway 8

The room was good, had quite some trouble with the key when I arrived. Breakfast was kind of awful but I'm also Italian so I guess I am used to something different.

Dirty water, cars and catalytic converters get stolen regularly, small kitchen, they dont change pillowcases, plenty of leaks and electrical issues within the room and building. Overall, seems run down and most definitely very ghetto and DIRTY. Do not do business with this location. Safety: Not safe, little to no security Walkability: Do not walk in the area at night unarmed

I prepaid for my stay, but at check-in, I was asked for an additional $50 deposit for cleaning. Upon checkout, I was assured I wouldnt be charged extra, but the full amount was deducted from my card. Despite contacting the hotel and asking to speak with the manager, Nicole Drews, I received no proper response. It seems the front desk staff are dishonest, charging customers twice. Ill never stay here again.

I have to say that my experience at this hotel was nice and affordable! My stay was for a few nights and overall I enjoyed it. I did have small issue with a room when I first checked in but the manager Nicole was so accommodating and got me into another room without an issue. Nicole even got me setup with the complimentary shuttle back to the airport which was much appreciated. The free breakfast and evening wine that I was able to take advantage of paid for itself. Rooms: The room that I was moved to had ice cold A/C. Food & drinks: I was there on one of their evening social nights and I got free wine.
