Moberi Dental Specialists

My daughter and I both had appointments with Dr. Morrison. He is very thorough at explaining everything that he sees that is going on in the mouth. I personally had the laser therapy treatment done on a graft that I had done four days prior and its significantly helped pain management. His staff is very personable and helpful. Highly recommend the Moberi dental specialist.

I had an appointment @11:00 a.m. and I was running out of this place literally at 11:07 a.m. I didnt get to meet the dentist so I have no idea what hes like. Ms.Stephanie at the front desk is enough for me not to do business with this place. This lady literally was telling me anything. My paperwork was all wrong down to the insurance. The information she was giving me was not adding up with what I was looking at on my treatment plan. She became a human calculator with all the fees. A consultation was $500 with my insurance, so Im glad I didnt get past her to even do that. Im so filled with disappointment with this service and lack explanation of fees its unreal. I tried to avoid the bad reviews but Im like some of the other people just stay far away from this place.

Dr Morris is an experienced Endodontist that does great work. His office staff is also great. My issue is he is quick to sedate you if you experience any anxiety. I have sat in the dentist chair for hours doing root canals. I've had like 5 of them! I have never had a dentist give up on me and say I needed sedation. Also never had one that uses nitrous oxide by default. He had zero tolerance with me 3 minutes in and he was making me nervous how he was rushing to get started. I just ask to be sat up for a few minutes while the numbing too effect. I would have been fine. Instead he said he was done and I would need to come back after taking a benzo which I did. Maybe he was in a rush that day or just wasn't feeling it. The chair was also not very comfortable. It all worked out and my teeth are good, but had to pay extra for the sedation which involves taking two pills two hours before the procedure at home. I got to experience nitrous for the first time at least. With the benzo I only remember a few parts of the root canal. When I had my crowns done afterwards at my regular dentist I was in the chair for 3 hours and had no issue. Another thing I don't like is they are like the only place that wants you to wear a mask in the lobby. Covid is over!

I do not recommend this provider due to shady billing practices. A few months ago, my spouse was having extreme tooth pain and went to see our general dentist who referred him to Dr. Morrison at Moberi for an emergency root canal. Due to the situation at hand, and not having time to search for other providers, we went to Moberi for a consultation and the procedure was performed the following morning. We paid up front for the procedure and the front desk lady confirmed they were in-network with my dental insurance. Everything seemed fine until I received the Explanation of Benefits (EOB), from my insurance company. I realized they had overcharged us for the procedure, by almost double, and notified them to request a refund. After months of following up and getting the runaround, they decided to give us a partial refund and are now refusing to speak to me about the remainder of the money they owe us. They are also now claiming that they are not in-network with my dental insurance, which is odd since I verified with both the front desk lady and my insurance company that they were in-network. I strongly encourage you to check your EOBs from your insurance if you use this provider and good luck getting your money back!
