        Dr. Mayer saved my life and will forever be grateful. In a strange way, I take pride in being his #2 toughest case. He is very respected by his peers, nurses and his residents. His bedside manner is amazing (he brought his son after a Saturday soccer game to come visit me in the hospital (I was able to tell he son his dad is a superhero).
