Generetors of Houston !!!! Im a General Contractor Dan and his group have done multiple projects for me and have been very professional and as we know in this business we have to rely on so many people so we will have some ups and downs but they always come through with 5 stars from me!!! We purchased a 48KW Kohler generator and a 400amp Kohler ATS from Generators of Houston (GoH) last year for a new home we are building in Magnolia. GoH was very helpful, especially Misty Velasquez in specifying the correct units for the features we needed and desired. GoH has a great electrical staff of qualified engineers and service technicians to assist you in properly designing, installing or assisting with the installation of an emergency power system. I highly recommend them for anyone who wants an emergency system specified and installed properly.

After Hurricane Harvey, I knew I had to get a gas generator for my home. I had my home lifted and live right on Clear Lake. To meet the requirements of my HOA I had to have my generator installed a minimum of 17.5 feet above sea level. Having the generator installed that high would pose a noise problem for my neighbor and we were concerned that having the generator installed that high would be an eye sore. While the noise level of the generator is not that high, having the generator that high could have been a problem that I did not want to deal with. And, my home was borderline too close to the property line such that installation could have been rejected. I really thought that having a gas generator was not in the cards. Then I contacted Dan Tragni with Generators of Houston. I explained the problem to Dan and he made an appointment to come out to my home to see if he could come up with a solution that would work. Dan was able to come up with a plan to meet all the HOA requirements and still keep the generator in a location where it was hidden from sight. Generators of Houston took care of all the planning and coordination to get all the necessary approvals and permits which made the process for us as the owners worry-free. Once approved the installation teams that came out to install my generator were first class. My installation was not a standard one so a lot of coordination was required which was all taken care of by Generators of Houston. The Contractors were professional, hardworking, and cleaned up their areas at the end of every day. In the end I now have a fully installed functional generator. As temperatures were dropping towards 20 degrees and night was falling last night I noticed that my Generac's light had turned red. This had not happened before and in a panic I immediately called G of H, with whom I have a service contract, and was prepared to pay for a (fairly pricy) after hours emergency service call. However the lady on the phone calmly talked me through what I needed to do to reset the unit and this morning the light is still green. I call this 5 star service.
