Clear Lake Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics

I need to start by saying how disappointed I am that its come to this, but I cant get any response from the actual company Ive been going to CLMD for years and they have done good work. Ive had everything done from cleanings to root canals to implants, but I will NEVER return again. Their billing department is completely incompetent and do not follow through on their job/promises. I received a bill a few months ago for services received in 2022!! The amount billed is the difference between their contracted rate with Cigna and their cash price. They are charging me for their screw up! My insurance denied their claim in 2022 because it was missing information. After repeated calls to the company I resorted to electronic communication to finally get a response. Their billing dept told me they will resubmit to insurance and that it will take approximately 21-27 business days before they get a response. They said they would call me when they hear from Cigna. Well, I just received a bill from a shady collection company (no way to contact them except by mail). I never received any communication from the billing dept and they never resubmitted the claim to insurance. I do NOT recommend using CLMD!! The quality of their work has also declined. I had to have my last crown cemented 5 times because it kept coming off!! I miss Dr Nguyen! The business fell apart when he left! Dont waste your time! Look elsewhere for your dental needs! Dont say I didnt warn you.

i have been with the office since opening 2010. The service has been great, but the quality is going down. The waiting time is longer. The staff does not know how to handle the schedule. Now, we are waiting for 2 hours for teeth extraction. Not one staff member checked on us or let us know about the delay or back-up work. It is 2 hours and 15 minutes waiting now. We ended up reschuling it after 3 hours waiting. The staff even does not have the schedule for May. I am very disappointed when I see the way the staff handles the schedule. It looks like our time is not valuable as their time. I will be ok if they evaluate the worload and reschule us after 1 hr waiting instead of letting us wait for 3 hours. Unbelievable waiting time. im debating changing service. Dr. Gallahan is very nice and good though.
