Distinct Abilities has played a hug role in our austic foster daughter's life. They have accomated to all her needs, and have helped in her development. She looked forward to attending each day and always had a smile on her face when she entered the door. Her longterm success is result of the hardwork and leadership of Ms. Wendy & Ms. Ernestine.

My son has been going here for almost 4 years since he was an infant and Ive had nothing but good experiences and positive interactions with the staff and directors. Theyre very accommodating with his disability and always willing to work with me on payments.

This is the only local daycare that serves handicapped and neurodivergent children. I enrolled a neurodivergent and a neurotypical child. Distinct Abilities provides excellent services to both. I enrolled the neurotypical child because I want him to learn from an early age that, although his brother and others like him are different, they still deserve to be loved. However, I suspect he has made himself their leader and become a despot (an equally compelling result).

DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE. This daycare is supposed to be trained and specialized in handling kids with special needs. My son was neglected. On Nov 3rd of 2023 I discovered a big dark purple bruise underneath my son's chin and I wasn't notified or anything by the daycare. When I confronted the daycare about it, the daycare staff acted CLUELESS and said they didn't know what happened or saw anything. They said they checked the camera footage and didn't see anything which I know was a LIE cause my son had to have cried really bad from getting that bruise. Not even a week later he broke his wrist at the daycare. I had already chose a new daycare for my kids to go to but the process to transfer them would take a couple weeks. My 8yr old daughter told me not to take my son there anymore cause she witnessed his teachers treating him very bad. Even after he broke his wrist she said the teacher grabbed him by his arm with the broken wrist and my son started crying. When my daughter told me not to take him there anymore cause they treated him bad it was a WRAP!! This daycare neglects children.

I recommend this place very, very highly. My autistic, non-verbal son has received care from them for years, mostly before-school, but also full-day. When our previous caregivers politely asked us to find another place, Distinct Abilities opened their arms. They are accommodating and flexible, careful and caring, at every level of staff. They cater to kids from all ability levels and backgrounds, and I never once have felt like my son was out of place or unwanted. In fact, just the opposite - we feel like we belong, and I have never once felt the need to apologize for my little boy. My son loves them, and I have come to rely on them.
