How can this place have 3 stars? Where do I start? Food was horrendous, rice was dry, noodles didn’t have any soy sauce, so almost look white, soup has been siting for a while. Was just a really bad experience in general. Don’t waste your time, and money.

My Review is based on week day experience and not weekend. Maybe weekend visit could be different. We went on Thursday. I’ve been to this place many time when previous owner used to run this place. Back then, their buffet was best. People from other states when they come to Houston, they would definitely visit Jamillah Garden. However, ever since we have a new management now, everything has changed. The food was cold and tasteless. I tried beef black pepper, took a bite and “SPIT IT OUT”. It was hard and tasted like it was not fresh. I tried other dishes but nothing good. After long time, I thought I should pay them a visit and see if...maybe they have improved on their food but disappointed. If you’re craving for Chinese food, My recommendation is that....there are soo many halal Chinese restaurants in Houston. Better to tried them all before use this place as your last resort.
