I called 30 minutes before they close (at 9) and asked if I could come in at 8:50 to come get my hat shaped. They told me yes, got there and denied me.

Got 2 pairs of Cody James jeans ; one for Christmas and one for my birthday. Both pairs broke in the same place. Called the store and tried to speak to Clyde (manager)5 times and got 5 different excuses. Sent email to customer service and was told they theres nothing they can do. These are expensive jeans from a supposedly good store. I get better customer service from a cheap store when I buy cheap jeans. I really expected more!

This place is a disaster. It is CONSTANTLY understaffed which leads to a complete lack of service when you need help with something since the only two employees are stuck on the registers tending to the long lines. The employees that do work there clearly have NO CLUE what is going on and are obviously poorly trained and do not communicate with one another. I needed a hat stretched and a Boot Barn employee who was working at the rodeo advised me to bring the hat to a store because that is a service they offer. I called ahead to be sure. The young girl who answered said "uhh I don't know if we do that here...." I asked her to check with someone and make sure because I was told otherwise. So she goes and asks and sure enough someone in the background is telling her "yes, we do and it takes a few hours." I Say great! I'll drop it off later thanks. SO later that evening I hurry over in the pouring rain during rush hour before a meeting, wait in line because AS USUAL there's not an employee in sight in the ENTIRE store other than the two at the register just to be told that they are no longer stretching hats in the store because **GET THIS:** The last time someone dropped off their hat to be stretched, SOMEONE SOLD IT!!! Are you freaking kidding me?!?! This store is so horribly mismanaged that they can't even offer a simple service anymore because I guess it's too hard to...I dunno put a sticker on a hat to indicate NOT to sell it. or MAYBE just remove the price tag or possibly put customer hats in one area. SO MANY easy solutions to stay organized but these geniuses sold a paid-for hat to another customer. It's mind boggling. I'm going to Cavender's from now on. Even with a discount this place isn't worth the hassle.

LACK OF MADE IN USA. Ive been buying Ariats for years. That being said there made in Vietnam. I would prefer my money staying in the country especially at almost 300.00 a pair. I assumed they carried at-least one brand made in the USA. I was incorrect. Evidently to buy American made products a person has to shop online. Maybe being a supposedly western store they would at-least stock American made work boots (redwing, thoroughbred, etc.) So until they put American work boots on the shelves my money and I will shop online.
