Light Heart Memory Care

It was a sad day when I had to see my dad finally be put in a home. I was the primary caregiver but I was tired. When we decided to find a safe place for him, I am so thankful we found Light Heart. It was heartbreaking but I am the forever optimistic one. Many times he would forget and he would remember random memories. At some points his memory would bounce back or a flicker of a memory would bring back the dad I used to know. Light Heart caregivers were always kind and knew how to take care of my dad. I was nervous they would kick him out because sometimes he gets angry, but they reassured me sometimes that's a part of the disease progression. At Light Heart my dad was living in an actual home something he was used to growing up and it helped him transition easily. When my dad got to Light Heart Memory Care he had a big bad sore on his bottom and he couldn't walk anymore, but a couple weeks of being at Light heart dad was able to walk again and the bedsore was completely healed. They were able to bring in doctors and hospice to help with dad's needs. I didn't know they could do that. It was amazing! I thank God for Light Heart Memory Care.

I visited the home today it is a amazing facility they engage and interact with the residents and overall I was apauled with the staff! I recommend it to anyone who's looking!

I have referred several clients to this Memory Care Home. The feedback has all been positive. Families are pleased with the service and care that is provided. Every time I have visited the staff is engaged with the residents. I see smiles throughout and that tells me a lot!
