This place was horrible,they really seem so nice at first, but they are very secretive didn't want you to visit and they were over dosing my mom and were keeping her like a zombie so she couldn't tell me anything she had blisters on the heels of her feet where they were keeping her in bed, Don't take your loved one here

The owners moved into a quiet, cozy neighborhood with their business and proceeded to act very unfriendly. The trash produced and the parking for guests does not belong in a residential neighborhood. Numerous visitors have commented on the lack of access to their loved ones in the last stages of life.

My loved one rec'd good care there as far as I could tell. Be aware that there are visiting hours and cameras in your loved one's room are not allowed. Also, be aware that there is no proration of charges if your loved one passes away. Read the contract. The facility is lovely and the owners affable before any paperwork is signed. Afterwards, they are very protective of their home and Aretha has a very strong personality. This is in no way meant to be a criticism only an observation. I would recommend this residential care home if your loved one is bed ridden and needs personal attention, and if no cameras and having visiting hours is not a problem for you.

Not right for my mother. The pictures on the website look wonderful, but in our experience with Mom she did not have access to the dining room, living room, or the large room where the 2 ladies are eating together. We were not given the opportunity to visit her in her room or even in the house, but only on the back porch. Mom did not get home-cooked meals. Her meals were packaged and she got the same thing for lunch and supper, with slight variation, always with paper plates, plastic utensils, and paper or plastic cups. She did not get assistance with ambulation. There are no call bells and my mom felt isolated when in her room, especially at night. She was afraid to speak up because Ms. Aretha did not listen, but rather talked over her and told her, "I've been doing for this for 30 years and I know what I'm doing." Ms. Aretha requested that I stay away for the first week. When I tried to see her before the week was up, Ms. Aretha said, "You're just mad because she doesn't need you anymore." My mother was very unhappy there, and she was there just under a month. Thank God we found a wonderful Godly place to move her where she was loved and well cared for during what turned out to be the final month of her life.
